About me
My name is Florian Nguyen. I am 32 and have been a backend developer for the last 4 years. I’ve been many things before that and I certainly plan on being many other things after that! I am also a human being on my own journey, and I appreciate each new learning opportunity that life presents me with.
I’ve always loved programming, among other things of course (mostly sports, movies and nature), and the last few years I have spent working as a developer have been among the most fulfiling of my (not so short) life! I also genuinely like sharing what I know and have learnt over the years, to explain to others what I’ve come to understand and to feel like I am being of help to others.
I’ve decided to create this blog to share a few useful technical insights for any person hoping or actively trying to become a developer, without omitting aspects such as personal development and soft skills. I also wanted to build a cool place where I could tell about my latest ongoing projects, obtain feedback from peers, and write about the parts of my job I appreciate most, or just about whatever crosses my mind that I feel like sharing.
Disclaimer
All the content you’ll find on this blog is 100% written by myself. As a non-native English speaker, I am only using AI on occasions to detect spelling and grammatical mistakes in my posts. Just because a technology exists does not mean we should always use it, and I just happen to think some things are better left to humans.
